Shape:

The shape is very similar to the Zowie U2, and honestly that is such a good thing because that shape is amazing for claw grip.

The back of the mouse is very wide which sort of hugs your thumb and stops the classic very bent thumb. This makes the mouse crazy comfortable. The right-side allows for easy placement of the ring finger, which allows for an equal force to be applied from each side of the hand. This is very very similar to the original Zowie. The larger shape causes it to fill my palm area without being an asymmetrical ergo shape.

Clicks:

The ATK U2 is using a Huano Ice Berry switch and the clicks honestly just feel amazing. As a person who mainly uses mice that use Omron opticals, the move back to mechanical switches has been such a good change. They are nice and tactile without being too heavy or “pingy”. There is very little pretravel and post travel on my unit.

The side buttons are a very nice and tactile TTC (Brown shell Blue Dot) that I can’t find any information about anywhere. The side buttons have been made significantly smaller than the ones on the U2, which makes the front one a little annoying to press for me as I have to sort of shift my hand up to hit it.

The only click that I dislike on this mouse is the middle click. It is definitely my personal preference coming into play here but it is quite loud and lacks the satisfying feeling of other mice.

Quality Control:

The QC on my unit is pretty good. There is a slight bit of wobble on the right mouse button but nothing crazy. The base is nice and flat. And honestly there just isn't anything really wrong with it.

Coating:

I absolutely love the coating on this mouse. It is very smooth, but stays grippy even when my hands are sweating in the warm weather we’ve been having recently over here. In my last post I said it feels the closest to the Hitscan Hyperlight out of the mice I own, and I stand by this. It isn’t exactly the same but close enough.

Skates:

The stock skates were surprisingly good and they were nice and big. No spare skates were included in the box. I did swap them out for dots though.

Performance:

The performance of the U2 pro has been superb. The pro only goes up to 1k polling. But not had a single issue with the sensor or polling rate. Overall, nothing else to really say.

Software:

I used the ATK Gear Web based software to change the settings. The software is fantastic but I did have a small issue that the software went down for a few days whilst testing.

Conclusion:

I cannot recommend this mouse enough if you want the Zowie U2 shape without spending Zowie money. It is a great feeling product and is a great budget option.
